On the 23 October 2008 our school joined in with the Sing Sing count us in day. What happens is there are about over 100 schools in Australia sing a song called Sing Sing and we sing it at the same time. We had some help with the band and the choir. The choir new all the actions and all the verses the people who weren't in the choir didn't now the verses as well as the choir. After the song we had 3 classes do some stuff that we have been learning in music. The classes were prep C, 4/5J (which is us) and 7L. Prep C did a robot dance then we did a Iris Jig with was fun then 7L did a song I forgot what it was called. Then we sand Sing Sing and this time we did the actions and it looked and sounded really good. When we got home it was on the news and it was very exciting for all the schools and our school.

Hi Riley
I really like your post about Music Count Us In because it was describing excatly what happened. By the way the song that 7L sang was called "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
