Zinny Taylor

In the novel Chasing Redbird by Sharon Creech the main character is Zinny Taylor. She is a 13 year old girl and lives with her large family in Bybanks, Kentucky.

Zinny feels guilty because her cosin Rose died from whooping cough when she was 4 and Zinny gave it to her and she didn't die. she feels different from her family because they are loud and boisterous and she is quiet and introvoted. She is confused about why her baby cosin Rose died and she didn't.

Zinny is tall and has long skinny legs. She looks like her mother. She has light skin, small nose and eyes (brown) she has dark hair and she wears dark clothes.

Zinny has a very odd behaviour because she tlaks funny. She tells fibs and is secretive. She likes to go to the semitry and talk to her dead cosin Rose.

Zinny blames herself for things that aren't her fault. She dosen't like people that much because she likes talking to people like Rose in the semitry. Zinny is very intelligent.

Zinny Taylor is a fantastic character because she is different and the reader is some times laughing at what she says because it is odd. It is her oddness that makes her a wonderfull character.
