Sports Day

On the 12Th of June Thursday our school had our Sports Carnival. The colours of our houses are RED, GOLD and BLUE. The colour that I am in is RED. The events that we Had were 100 meter sprint, 200 metre sprint, relays, ball games some days before we had the Long Jump finals, the Shoot Put and the High Jump finals. The house that won was RED. This year was my first Sports Carnival. I was really excited that it was my first Sports Carnival and the house that I was in won. But the other teams did really well. The places I got were First in High Jump second in 100 meters second in 200 meters and I'm a good sport in the finals of 100 meters. when the sports carnival was done some people went home from bus or got picked up from their mum or dad but I went on the bus back to school. When I got back to school my mum was at the pick up zone and I showed her my places I got and she was really proud of me. She drove my sister and I home and I showed my dad, nanny and poppy and they were really proud of me and my sister as well. Later on in the year we will have a swimming carnival and I can't wait for the next Sports Carnival next year.
